Cyndy Gauthier
Head of Theatre Dept, Musical Director, Drama Club Advisor
Cyndy Gauthier has been involved in Theatre in some way or another for 30 years, but has been directing at Rogers High School since 2015. She has her Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and English from the University of MN as well as her Master's in Arts Education from Augsburg College. Her favorite part about directing is making sure every student feels at home in the Theatre. There is a place and purpose for every single person and she loves seeing her students build their confidence and shine.

Matthew Fossum
One Act Play Director and Spring Play Director
Matthew Fossum is the director of the Spring Play and the One Act Play. He began working in the RHS Theatre Department in 2018, and has taught English at Rogers High School since 2016. Directing credits include Cobweb Dreams, Antigone, The Continuum Tales, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Yellow Boat, and The Play That Goes Wrong.

Austin Adler
Technical Director
Austin graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a degree in Theatre Honors. During his time at Gustavus, he won the Lee and Laurie Music and Theatre Excellence Award as well as Outstanding Student in Design, Technology, or Production Award. In high school, he was a Spotlight Education Triple Threat as well as a One Act participant for three years. Over the last two years he has worked professionally at The Mayo Clinic Health Systems Event Center as a Stagehand/AV Technician, and at The Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre as their Lead Carpenter for two seasons and as an actor for their Christmas production.

Keith Saxton
Pit Orchestra Conductor
Keith graduated from CMU University with a B.M.E in 1990.
He has performed at Carnegie Hall in NY, NY 2x. and performed with an International Jazz Band of 9 countries throughout Europe. He’s worked for the Detroit Pistons of the NBA as a lead entertainer for 15 years. He has released 3 top 50 Jazz CD's in the 1990's. Mr. Saxton performed at Orchestra Hall with The Detroit Symphony Orchestra to three sold out performances. He also wrote the background music for the launch of the first sports car by Lexus North America.

Andrew Parr
Musical Director
Mr. Parr is excited to be serving as the Vocal Director the RHS Fall Musical, Beauty and the Beast. Mr. Parr attended St. Olaf College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in music education, and The College of St. Scholastica, where he earned a master's degree in education. Mr. Parr is the Choir Director at Rogers Middle School in Rogers, the Director of Music at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in St. Paul, a freelance pianist and vocalist, and a published composer/arranger with nearly 20 titles in print. He has been involved with RHS theater since 2017, frequently serving as accompanist in the pit. Mr. Parr is most excited to be with students on this exciting journey of preparing such an iconic musical!

Celest Trosvig
Costumer
Celest has been officially employed in theater as a costume designer for 12 years. However, her love and participation in theater has been life long. She has worked with several productions, with ages ranging from 5 - 80. Every show is a new adventure and she feels blessed to be able to experience each one with such a wonderful group of people.

Stephanita ZumBerge
Musical Choreographer
Stephanita found her love for dancing, singing and acting at a very young age! Her dance background includes ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, high kick, musical theatre and hip hop. While working toward her degrees in psychological science and dance, she participated in the productions of “Sweeney Todd” and “Cabaret” at Gustavus Adolphus College and was a member of the Gustavus Dance Company. Since discovering her passion for choreography, she has been a hired choreographer for eleven musicals through five different theatre companies. Currently, she is a teacher/choreographer at Jeté Dance Centre and created the studio’s recreational musical theatre program! Creating movement and teaching adolescents is a treasured experience and she is excited to be included in the beauty that Rogers High School holds.
